Dr D. D. Ratnasinghe is a member of the following organisations:
His country of origin is Sri-Lanka and grew up in Zambia and Nigeria. He is now a permanent resident of the UK, with two daughters and is a Buddhist.
His first degree in medicine and surgery was obtained from the University of Ibadan, in Nigeria and his specialist training in paediatrics, healthcare management was all in the UK.
He has been a permanent NHS consultant since 1999. His NHS hospital is the West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth, Middlesex. He works there as a consultant in Paediatrics. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer with the Imperial College, school of medicine.
